Census coming in Apr-2026 - Don't forget to mention Sindhi
Big News for Sindhis. Government as declared the date for Census in India. It will start from Apr-2026. During the last census that happened in year 2011 total count of Sindhis was only 27 Lakh which is actually wrong. As per many Sindhi organisations Total Sindhis could be more than 1 crore in India. One of the issue is many Sindhis didn’t mention in the survey that they are Sindhis. This has impacted many of the provisions that are made for Sindhis. So all the Sindhis across India are requested to proudly mention themselves as Sindhis in coming Census survey. More the number of Sindhis, more will be the budget from Government for Sindhis.
